Hi, I’m Maria.
~ Who I Am ~
A life coach and proud single mom of two incredible boys. A storyteller at heart, and the voice behind Single Mama Era. This space was born from my own lived experience — navigating the highs and lows of solo parenting, navigating life after divorce, and learning who I am outside of that chapter.
~ WHAT GROUNDS ME ~
I’m on this journey right alongside you. Between school drop-offs and dinner cleanups, I find moments of peace and reflection in the small things — reading a good book, taking quiet walks in nature, carving out time for early gym sessions or a calming yoga practice to stay grounded. I’ve also found joy in exploring my creative side through pottery, and when I can, I love traveling solo to reconnect with myself and meet people from all walks of life. My passion lies in meaningful connection and creating space for others to feel seen, heard, and supported.
~ WHY I CREATED SINGLE MAMA ERA ~
The inspiration behind Single Mama Era began during a trip to the Philippines, where I reconnected with my roots and the powerful community of women in my family. My grandmother and her sisters have always shown up — not just for their own children, but for each other’s families and their community. They’ve built a lifelong tradition of uplifting, supporting, and loving those around them through every season. Even now, they continue to be the best example of what it means to live with purpose, show up for others, and honor the power of family. That spirit lives on in how I show up — for my children, my community, and this work.
Through honest blog posts, personal reflections, and shared stories, I open a space for single parents to feel inspired, supported, and seen. Single Mama Era is about embracing the messy, beautiful, and transformative parts of life — and building a community rooted in truth, encouragement, and growth.
